Photography was essential to capturing the handmade nature of quilling and its process to customers who had never experienced the product in person. The product photography was utilized across print and digital mediums spanning contest submissions, print advertising, social media, email newsletters, digital advertising, marketing materials, web pages, the annual catalog and more.
Originally I was the sole photographer for the brand but as the company grew I became more senior and was responsible for ideating and directing the shoots and training the junior staff.
